it’s such a complete “brain save” for me. I literally do nothing. The texture ends up being a tad different, but not enough that my family has ever noticed. 🙂 The kids love having it cooked in baggies too because I will keep some in the fridge and it makes them much more apt to cook up something on their own. 🙂
No flour in this recipe ???
Correct, this is the seasoning only. If you’re looking for a recipe that uses our seasoning, these Keto KFC Chicken Tenders are one of our most popular dishes: https://how2doketo.com/keto-copycat-kfc-chicken-tenders/
You didn’t mention what volume of bread crumbs to use with the spices!?
There are no bread crumb in the seasoning itself.
How much of the seasoning mix do I use per half pound chicken breast?
You can use as much or as little as you like!
WTAF is 2/3 of a teaspoon!?!? Does anybody work in thirds of teaspoons? All of my measuring spoon sets do not include thirds or 2 thirds! Hilarious!
I’m glad you were entertained.
A suggestion for easier measuring:
Use Tablespoons in lieu of teaspoons when making this.
A teaspoon is 1/3 of a Tablespoon, so 2/3 Tablespoon is a 2 tsp.
Easy Peasy.
Wow! People are pretty snarky on here.
I made up a batch and I love..love..LOVE IT! Soo tasty.
And I’m sure you’ll be relieved to know that my brain didn’t melt measuring out the 2/3 of a teaspoon nor did it explode because the recipe didn’t call for flour.
This is the BEST comment I’ve gotten in memory. Thank you!!
Strange it doesn’t mention flour.
Because it is a seasoning mix. You can add it to your flour, but for keto, you wouldn’t use the flour.
Ok I made this tonight (after trying many copycat KFC Keto seasoning recipes) and this one is hands down, the best one. My entire family were all like, “This is yum!
