For your convenience in re-creating this recipe at home, we’ve included shop-able ad links to some of the products and supplies used. Read our disclosure policy here.

  • Cream Cheese — Allow it to soften at room temperature.
  • Sour Cream — Skip the light stuff and go for full fat sour cream (fat is our friend on keto!)
  • Mayonnaise — Again, stick to the real stuff!
  • Ranch Seasoning — You can use your favorite, but we always look for on that is lower in carbs.
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese — I recommend buying a block of real cheddar cheese and shredding your own. Some store bought shredded cheese contains starches and other additives.
  • Bacon — Cooked and chopped
  • Green Onions — Finely sliced

Why I Love This Recipe:

  • Packed with flavor, like a loaded baked potato!
  • Easy to make!
  • Only 1g net carbs per serving!

Instructions

Place cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a medium-sized bowl and use an electric mixer to cream the ingredients until well combined and smooth.

Work in the ranch seasoning with your mixer. You may want to give it a taste and add more seasoning if desired.

Stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions by hand, until just combined.

Cover and refrigerate.

TIP: I always like to add more bacon, green onion, and shredded cheese on top just before serving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Ranch Seasoning Keto Friendly?

Generally, ranch seasoning is ok to eat on keto because it is fairly low carb. Most store bought ranch seasoning mixes contain a gram or so of added sugar, but when you factor that into an entire recipe, it’s a negligible amount.

For that reason, we used pre-made ranch seasoning mix for this recipe. It saves time and you don’t need to measure! Just grab a 1oz packet and add to your dip as you mix it!

If you’re doing “clean keto” and staying away from all processed foods, you can make your own ranch seasoning fairly easily — like this recipe from Sugar Spice & Glitter.

  1. I made this without the bacon, but BAKED it in a pie plate for 20 mins — so delicious! Had to use up some store-bought almond-flour crackers that were boring-flavor and this dip / spread was perfect. Also on celery sticks, raw broccoli & cauliflower

  2. What is the serving size?
