Low Carb Strawberry Lemonade
You guys, I have a thing for lemonade. Like, I really, really love it!!
Of course, most lemonade recipes are crammed full of sugar. No wonder they taste so good!! (Insert face palm emoji here).
Ok, well I decided that the keto thing just wasn’t going to cut it if I couldn’t have a glass of lemonade now and then. And the good news is that you CAN have lemonade…and not worry about all that sugar…because there isn’t any added to this recipe!
Our keto strawberry lemonade is made with real fruit and a special sweetener to get that delicious refreshing flavor, without all the carbs.
It’s legit and it’s pretty easy! Try doubling the recipe to make enough for a pitcher so you can always have some in the fridge when a lemonade craving hits!

For the Strawberry Syrup:
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups water
For the Strawberry Lemonade Ingredients (per serving):
- 1 lemon
- 1-2 Tablespoons strawberry syrup
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar-free maple syrup*
- 1 cup water
- Fresh strawberries, optional garnish

Instructions
To make the Strawberry Syrup:
Place strawberries and water in a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and continue to simmer until liquid is reduced by half (about 5 minutes).
Strain out the strawberries and set aside. The reduced liquid will be your strawberry syrup to use in your strawberry lemonade.
TIP: Keep the strawberries! They can be used for a smoothies, pie filling, etc.
To make the Strawberry Lemonade:
Juice one lemon and place the juice in serving glass. (About 2 Tablespoons lemon juice.)
Add the strawberry syrup you just made, as well as the sugar free maple syrup and stir well.
Add the lemon halves and ice cubes to fill the glass and then top with 1 cup water (or more or less as needed).
Garnish with additional fresh strawberries, if desired, and serve immediately.

For the Strawberry Lemonade
- 2 Tbsp Strawberry Syrup
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Tablespoon sugar free maple syrup
- 1 Cup Water
- Fresh Strawberries optional, for garnish
Instructions
For the Strawberry Syrup
- Place strawberries and water in a medium-sized saucepan.
- Set the saucepan over high heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium and continue to simmer until liquid is reduced by about half, 5 minutes.
- Strain out the strawberries and save the strawberry liquid.
- The strawberries can be used for a smoothie, pie, or discarded.
For the Strawberry Lemonade
- Juice one lemon and place the juice in serving glass. (About 2 Tablespoons lemon juice.)
- Pour in the strawberry syrup and sugar free maple syrup and stir well.
- Add the lemon halves to the glass, along with a handful of ice cubes, and then top with 1 cup water.
- Garnish with additional fresh strawberries, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
