We love using ground beef in our keto dinner recipes because it because it easily adapts to any flavor or cuisine. With this ONE ingredient you can make burgers, Italian food, Mexican food, Korean food…you get the idea. And it’s one of the more affordable items in the meat department!
Aside from being affordable and adaptable, ground beef has the ideal nutritional profile for the keto diet. It’s high in protein and good fats and low in carbs.
TIP: Choose a ground beef with higher fat content, because fat is what the body converts to energy on a keto diet. You can still use lean ground beef, but something like 70/30 has a higher fat content, more flavor, and holds together better in recipes.
